The 2017 BMW 5-Series is a seventh generation car in the popular BMW 5 series by German automaker BMW Group. It will offer more powertrain options and be lighter than its predecessors; these options include a plug-in petrol hybrid that will have zero carbon emissions for the first 20 miles of driving.
