2016 Range Rover Evoque release date, xl, review
Range Rover is undeniably a franchise that had always been the trend setters when it came to designing SUVs. With the 2016 Range Rover Evoque, this company will be looking forward to claiming a significant stake in the market by introducing better quality interiors, modified exterior design and boost in overall performance. The company has also taken a step towards offering better affordability rates that we believe will have a great impact on how people generally perceive Range Rover vehicles. Let’s take a look at what this new and upcoming addition has in store for us.
2016 Range Rover Evoque: Redesign Exterior and Interior
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque is set to go through a significant modification to its exterior to make it look aggressive and more in tune with popular demands. To start off, it will be based on a completely different platform that uses aluminium for constructing the body. This will make the car lighter than before, thus aid in handling and performance rates. Not much details are known about changes in body components, but LED lights are expected to make an entry this time around. Overall shape of the vehicle will regain an aerodynamic pattern and be better to control.
Alongside the car’s exterior, interior of 2016 Range Rover Evoque will go through some minor refreshments. Its seats will be wrapped with premium quality leather while the redesigned seating arrangement would provide better posture and comfort to the passengers. It would also have increased cargo space, more head and legroom and advanced dashboard configuration that would make other SUVs go “WOW!”
Speaking of technology upgrades, there is word that this SUV will boast of improved infotainment and safety features that include a top-notch audio system, new central console, automatic air conditioning, Navigation and rear-parking sensors to name a few. Most of these information are speculative, and we still need to wait some more to shed light on them.
2016 Range Rover Evoque: Engine Specs
According to our trusted sources, we have been informed that the new 2016 Range Rover Evoque will not be featuring the previous lineup of EcoBoost engines, but will come with an entirely different set that maximise performance and fuel economy. The base variant will feature a 2.0 litre Turbo HotFire engine that can produce a maximum of 240 hp. This engine will be reasonably fuel efficient and come in petrol and diesel variants. It will be mated to a 9-speed auto transmission system and come with either 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive. There is yet much to learn about other engine types, or a special hybrid version that is in the making, if rumours are to be believed.
2016 Range Rover Evoque: Release Date and Price
The car has just passed the production stage and is awaiting to be unveiled, which we believe somewhere around the middle of 2015 in any major Auto Show. Based on speculations, we can expect the 2016 Range Rover Evoque to turn up sometime during early 2016. Price of the base model would start somewhere around $ 33 000.
