2015 Honda Civic Sedan is another mass premium car coming from Honda stable and setting some very high standards for others to match or play catch up. It has always been on the top of priority list and made many changes/upgrades based on customer inputs. To increase it value among the mid-range customers it has concentrated on upping the fuel economy standard and achieved desired results with high values.

2015 Civic Sedan made major changes in this regard as customers were unsatisfied with interior of previous models when compared with other sedans available then. It has been enhanced with use of good quality materials and added functionalities which include interior noise cancellation, adjustable telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, air-conditioning, foldable rear seats, rear view camera, gadget compatibility, Bluetooth hands-free system, 5’’ screen display, Pandora radio system, CD/DVD player, USB port and four speaker audio system.

2015 Civic Sedan has an overall compact design both in coupe and sedan models. It is available in four different trims with the base trim being LX, high-end trims of EX-L Navi and EX-L, the high selling mid level trim of EX, Hybrid trim model and the fuel-efficient HF trim. It retains most of the traditional Honda body lines and has a feel of aerodynamic body design. It looks stylish from the rear with shapely tail-lights and rear bumper, back exhaust, model’s name in bold and the Honda tag. Another significant exterior feature is its 15’’ wheels with unique modern design.

2015 Honda Civic Sedan is powered by a 1.8-liter four cylinder engine giving a maximum power output of 143 horsepower and peak torque value set at 129 lb-ft. This standard engine ensures good performance on lighter budget with better fuel economy.

Based on the type of transmission used in this car it is expected that 2015 Honda Civic Sedan will give an EPA fuel economy value of 30 mpg city, 39 mpg highway and 33 mpg combined for the EX, LX and EX-L trims while for the HF trim the respective values are 31 mpg, 41 mpg and 35 mpg respectively.

2015 Civic Sedan has two transmission options with one being five speed manual transmission and other being continuously variable transmission (CVT). High end trims have CVT as the default standard on board.

2015 Honda Civic Sedan is expected to be priced at $ 19 000 and will go on sale by the end of this year though there has been no official release date thus far.
